Welcome to IRDTC’s Nov/Dec Training Session. Registration will be on the evening of your first class. Please come 15 minutes early to complete your class paperwork. Please bring your dogs’/pups vaccination records for verification. If your dog was adopted from a shelter, please bring adoption papers for your one time discount.
Days, instructors, and times for this session’s classes:
Sunday Classes: Start Nov. 4th – Dec 2nd (2 hour class = 10 weeks)
Nosework – 10:00 am – 12:00 noon – Instructors: Karlyn B. & Nancy K. – This class if for anyone wanting to get involved with the fun of Nosework on a playful or competitive level. Learn about the scents and the workings of Nosework as well as some floor scent searches. Work your way to trialing!
Monday Classes: Start Nov.19th –Dec. 10th Instructor: Shelly R (4 weeks classes)
**Agility classes – Must have taken a Foundations class or the Sports Foundation I & II
Sports Foundation 5:45 – 6:30 pm – No new students – we will continue from Sports Foundations I&II.
Agility Beginners, Intermediate& Advanced 6:30 – 8:00 pm This session will focus on weaves and motivation for all levels of agility.
Tuesday Classes: Start Nov. 13th – January (10 weeks)
Novice Obedience Preparation – 6:30 -7:15 pm Start Nov. 13th – Instructor: Paul H. This will be an ongoing class. Multi-level training. Working on preparation for Novice Obedience showing. Dogs should sit/stay with automatic sits from heeling.
Wednesday Classes: Start Nov.14th- Dec.19th (6 week class)
Puppy Class: 6:00-6:45 pm – Instructor: Corrine C. This class is for puppies 8 weeks to 5 months. Puppy must have 1st set of shots. Start your puppy out right with socialization, training, activity & responsibility.
Basic Manners/Problem Solving – 7:00-7:45 pm – Instructors: Sandra T. & Patty S.
This class is for dogs 5 months and older. Everyday good manners and responsible dog ownership are taught through basic obedience/manners. Topics: controlled walking, coming when called, sits, downs, stays, jumping. Q&A session also.
Beyond Beginners Class -8:00-8:45 pm – Instructor: Patty S. This class is for those who have successfully completed our Beginner Obedience course but want more! We will work with refining the heeling, quicker sits & down, longer and more reliable stays, and recalls and target any additional areas you may want to cover.
Thursday Classes: Starts Nov. 15th- Dec. 27th No classes on Thanksgiving
Youth Obedience – 5:30 pm Instructors: Paula H. and Sandra T. This class is for youth (kids) up to age of 18. They will focus on basic obedience skills.
Rally – 7:30 – 8:15 pm – Instructor: Scott V. This is for those interested in learning about and/or those wanting to/or currently competing in Rally Obedience. This involves dog/handler following a sign-based course. You will learn the general rules and experience courses. Great for teamwork building!
Friday Classes: Starts Nov. 9th-Nov. 30th (4 weeks)
Trick Dog Class: 6:00 – 6:45 pm Instructor: CGC Evaluator Penny U. How to train your dog to do tricks. Work toward earning AKC Trick Dog titles or just come to have fun. Bring small, soft treats your dog loves and a lot of enthusiasm.

Non-members: $60 Non-Active members: $30 Active Working Members: $15
Prices for our 4 week class:
Non-members: $40 Non-Active members: $20 Active Working Members: $10
Prices for our 10 week class:
Non-members: $100 Non-Active members: $50 Active Working Members: $25

REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR VACCINATION RECORDS AND VERIFICATION OF RABIES VACCINATION WITH YOU TO NIGHT ONE. (Puppies under 6 months are exempt from the proof of rabies immunizations. If you do not have your rabies proof with you on this night, please furnish it at the next class).
