Congrats to our Dock Dog people

At the St. Louis County Fair this year they had the official Dock Dogs there and we had several IRDTC members try it out.

Cathy Burns Steel and Juke:  At Sunday’s competition he jumped in the first run 16.7 feet for second place and in the second run he jumped 18.3 feet for first place.  

Thanks to Cathy Kishel for submitting the pictures she took of her dog Moose, Cami Roland and Khoas, Penny Uber and Lumin, Missi Roland with Moose and Clique and the other owners/dogs who’s name I don’t know.

See below for a step-by-step pictorial of what each dog SHOULD do to dock dive, but sometimes even our ‘water dogs’ aren’t quite sure about taking the plunge!  Kudos to Moose for being a good sport and in the end he got what mattered:  the ball!
